Antec Dark Fleet DF-85 Case Review

Well it’s that time again, Antec have released a new line of cases. The cases, which are part of the “Dark Fleet” series, endorse a rather “love it or hate it” design. Today we have the daddy of the Dark Fleet Series, the DF-85.

With the huge and overwhelming success of the Antec 900, 902 and 1200, Antec certainly have a tough task if they want to dominate the case market. In a heavily saturated market, where Antec compete with the likes of Silverstone, Coolermaster and Lian Li, bad cases are sure to dent reputations.  So, what do we expect from this case? Well, as enthusiasts we want excellent airflow, superb cable management holes and enough features to keep us excited for months to come.

Now, here’s a little bit of information about Antec for those who aren’t aware of them:

Antec, Inc., is the leading global brand of high-performance computer components and accessories for the gaming, PC upgrade and Do-It-Yourself (DIY) markets. Founded in 1986, Antec is recognized as a pioneer in these industries and has maintained its position as a worldwide market leader and international provider of efficient, quiet, and reliable products. Antec has also achieved great success in the distribution channel, meeting the demands of quality-conscious system builders, VARs and integrators.

Antec have always been at the front of our minds when seeking a new case. Backed by industry leading customer support, solid-quality and professional cases – they are a hit more often than not!

Enough rambling, onto the specifications of the Antec DF-85!
